Description: Developed a vision-based rework station for precise measurement and guided correction of electrical connectors. The system performs multiple 2D dimensional checks, including:
Pin alignment relative to local housing
Ground pin position verification
Tip inspection for damage or deformation
The application integrates with a custom local interface that:
Receives part recipes and trigger commands
Sends back inspection results, including annotated images and dimensions for each pin, ground, and tip
Visually guides the operator on which pins require adjustment and in what direction
This solution allows the operator to re-align and inspect connectors in real time, significantly improving rework accuracy and efficiency.
